More than just a site editor, BodilessJS includes advanced tooling for implementing and extending design systems.  The bundled VitalDS provides a  foundation set of layout and functional components, jump-starting your site-build while allowing you infinite customization to realize your individual vision.

Editable Navigation

Included in the package is a standard header nav with dropdowns, utility nav in header, footer nav, and mobile nav.  All are inline-editable, and breadcrumbs are generated automatically.

For many applications, a CMS is costly overhead.
Dynamic content can instead use 3rd party services.

SEO and Share (Opengraph) Metadata

Forms to maintain the data are built into the admin interface, for content managers to access.

Search

Comes with an out of the box lightweight client-side feature based on lunr-js to help users find content on the site.

Content Reuse

For some sites, content reuse can be a significant efficiency, but you don't need a costly CMS application to achieve it.  In Bodiless, a centralized content library can be shared across your site.  Components with content can be added to the library and then reused on multiple pages.
